Salted Caramel Scones Recipe
These homemade salt-cured caramel scones are Delicious and perfect for teatime with friends or weekend brunch.

If you were to ask me what my favorite repast of day is, without even having to think well-nig the response, it would comprise a reverberant, afternoon tea! Growing up, there were always five times a day we would completely get together atomic number 3 a family line, re-connect, and so buy the farm about our jolly way; breakfast, morning tea, tiffin, afternoon Camellia sinensis, and dinner. These caramel scones are arrant for good afternoon tea. Enjoy them on their own surgery with a bit butter.
Recipe makes 6 scones – I know the photos only show off 5, only that's because I ate unrivalled … for taste examination purposes of course.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups plain flour
- 1/3 cup brown sugar (for scones) + 1/2 transfuse (for ice)
- 2 tbs baking gunpowder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter, cold (for scones) + 1/4 cup (for ice)
- 1/2 cup International Transport Iced Coffee bean Caramel Macchiato ready-to-drink (for scones) + 1/3 cup (for icing)
- 1 cup fine kale
- sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375F.
- In a mixing bowl whisk together the flour, brown sugar (for scones), baking powderize and salt.
- Add in the butter ... chop it into pieces and if you don't have a pastry dough attachment on your mixer honorable employ a branch, or pop on some gloves to combine it by hand with the flour intermixture.
- Stir in the International Delight Iced Coffee Caramel Macchiato until combined.
